Snow Procedure

Should we get snow, we will always endeavour to keep the school open. However, should the school be closed, you can find out in the following ways:-

1. Please visit the Kent Closures website at www.kentclosures.co.uk and search for the school in the search box.

2. You can also listen to KMFM, BBC Radio Kent or Heart FM to hear if the school is closed.

3. Our website will be updated early morning as soon as a decision is reached.

4. Parentmail.

Please note that we will only contact you or put information on the website if the school is closed. If it is not announced on the radio or on the website, the school will be open. Please ensure you have found out for yourself that the school is closed and not to rely on word of mouth. If you live within walking distance of the school we would appreciate if you could make every effort to bring your child in.

Finally, should the school be open in the event of snow, access to the school will be through the front gate only – the top gate will be closed for safety reasons.
