Settling in survey for our Year 3's

Year 3 Parents and Carers: As your child is approaching the end of their first school term with us, we would like to know your views on the transition into our school. A variety of activities were held in the summer term, including buddy reading as well as tours and visits around the school, to welcome your child and help them settle in. It is important to us that your child settles in well, is happy and is enjoying their learning. It would be helpful to us if you could take a few moments to let us know your views by downloading and competing the following SURVEY. Thank You. Sally Millsted, Family Learning Manager.

Year 5's adapt and overcome at Kingswood

Our year 5's took on some exciting challenges by journeying to Kingswood on Friday the 21st September. Contending not only with everything the severe stormy weather could throw at them, they took on the activities with great enthusiasm, putting all their energy into having fun. School trips like these provide fanatastic opportunities to teach children independence, resilience and the value of team work. It was great to see the children working and having fun together, getting to know themselves and each other better. More photos on our year 5 web page.

This time round it was our new year 6 children, who were given the incredible opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities, which included climbing, ziplining, rifle shooting, abseiling, raft building, tunnelling and having a go on the giant swing. More information and photos on the year 6 web page.
