The importance of teamwork in sport

On Friday the 5th January, pupils took part in a sports assembly to showcase the sport they do in school and why it is important to them. It was extremely enjoyable with pupils showing abilities of what they can do in many different sports such as hockey, gymnastics and speed stacking. The theme of the assembly was teamwork and why it is important. Teamwork is one of the school values which the pupils wanted to highlight, and how it plays a pivotal role in every team-based event.

A new event called ‘JUST DANCE’ launched during assembly, which will be available for pupils on Fridays during lunch times. Children are encouraged to come to the hall and give it a go. Well done to all pupils who were in the assembly.
