A sunny and warm Tuesday on 18th July saw children from St. Stephen's Junior battle it out on the school field while competing for their respective houses in our annual sports day competition. Families were invited to attend in support of their children and by 11am the grounds were full of children and adults, and screams of encouragement as children competed in the many various events scattered around the fields.
Houses competing with each other were Loretta, Langton, Hales, and Manwood and children took part in events ranging from obstacle courses, sprints, sack races, shotput, discus throw, hurdles, skipping races, and numerous other event types. Ultimately though there could be only one winner and house Hales took victory at the end of a challenging and exciting day. We would like to thank all children, family members and staff for helping us make the day so incredibly special, and for contributing to the wonderfully postive atmosphere permeating throughout the event.
